01 — Heritage & form

An enduring form.
A new expression.

The familiar line of the Caucasian kama, interpreted through an Armenian point of view.

DASHUYN carries the character of a historic dagger into the present: a considered silhouette, distinct materials and a precise contemporary finish.

02 — Construction

A study
in precision.

Two distinct parts. One continuous line.

The faceted aluminium scabbard gives way to a black steel blade. Every plane contributes to the same clear, deliberate form.

04 — Every detail

Considered
from every side.

The same attention continues around the object: through the exposed layers of carbon, the machined bevels and the steel belt attachment.

The Arevakhach detail brings an Armenian reference into the language of the design.

Origins

The origins
of form.

DASHUYN draws on the Armenian dagger and the tradition of the Caucasian kama. Its recognisable outline is the starting point for a new exploration of form, material and detail.

LERHAY reinterprets this heritage through precise geometry, carbon fibre and anodized aluminium. A familiar silhouette takes on a contemporary expression, retaining a connection to the culture that inspired it.

The thought behind LERHAY

To inherit
is to carry forward.

For Grigor Martirosyan, Armenia’s rich heritage calls for personal participation. We inherit it through what we create and carry into our own time.

DASHUYN puts that thought into practice: the memory of the Armenian dagger takes form in contemporary materials. A tradition continued through the object itself.
